Job Description

WANTED :

SARS is looking for a dynamic individual, with a high level of integrity, trust and discretion to ensure operational policies, procedures, and standards applied within the licensing and accrediting Customs and Excise intermediaries comply with sound governance and legislative principles making it easy for compliant taxpayers and traders, hard & costly for non-compliant taxpayers & traders.

S/he should be able to apply governance and legislative principles to ensure consistent application of internal policies, procedures and standards with acceptable knowledge and skills pertaining to records and archive mmanagement. Further s/he should be analyical  and have a learning attitude, with a burning desire to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

Job Purpose

To ensure that adequate control is exercised over Policies, Procedures, and Standards (PPS) within licensing and accrediting Customs and Excise intermediaries to comply with governance and legislative principles.

Relevant National Diploma / Advanced Certificate   (NQF 6) AND 2-3 years’ experience policy

and procedure environment  of which 1-2 years ideally at knowledge worker

Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 5 years related experience in policy and procedure environment.
